the Oxford Day

Last Saturday I had the great opportunity to attend the Oxford Day in Montevideo, it was awesome!!! It started with Lucrecia Pratt's talk. She talked about the brain and connected it with the main topic of the Seminar: 'Sense and Sensibility'. She focused on the implementation of story tales in the lesson, as well as the way they active both hemispheres of the brain. The other talk I really liked was Charlie López's one: "The movies". It was amazing all you can do with the movies!!! I am looking forward to learning how to copy parts of the movies to include in my lessons.
The breaks and the lunch time was excellent too!!!

let's start for the beginning...

As you may know (or not) I'm currently studying at CeRP Salto to become an English Teacher. This is my second year and besides of being a trainee at Liceo 3, I'm also working as a Preschooler teacher at the English Institute.
The 'publication' of this blog is part of my computer science curse.
